About Marshall
My journey in mathematics began with a strong interest in numbers, patterns, and logical reasoning. I completed a Master’s Degree in Mathematics, where I developed advanced problem-solving skills and conceptual understanding. Over the past 9 years, I have worked with students from different academic backgrounds, helping them overcome challenges and gain confidence. Teaching allows me to simplify complex ideas and guide learners effectively.
My teaching style is structured, patient, and adaptable. I understand that each student learns differently, so I adjust my approach based on their needs. I focus on building strong basics, providing clear explanations, and encouraging regular practice. I also create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning without pressure. This helps them stay motivated and engaged.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring mathematics through problem-solving and learning new methods. This helps me improve my teaching approach and keep my lessons effective. Teaching math is meaningful to me because I see students grow from confusion to confidence. Helping them build strong skills, improve performance, and develop a positive mindset toward learning is something I truly value, and I remain committed to supporting their long-term success.

I guide learners through topics such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and basic calculus using step-by-step explanations. I focus on helping students understand the logic behind formulas instead of memorizing them. Each lesson includes examples, guided practice, and problem-solving techniques that help students build confidence gradually. This approach reduces confusion and supports steady improvement.
Lessons are planned based on the student’s level and learning pace. Beginners start with number basics and simple operations. Intermediate learners focus on applying formulas, solving structured problems, and improving accuracy. Advanced students work on complex problem solving, logical reasoning, and exam preparation strategies. I provide regular practice sessions, corrections, and revision support to ensure continuous progress. This helps students build strong mathematical skills over time.
Mathematics also helps students develop logical thinking and analytical skills that are useful in everyday life. As they begin to understand patterns and relationships, they gain confidence in their abilities. Many students who once struggled with math begin to enjoy it as they see improvement. My goal is to make math simple, meaningful, and engaging.
