About Van Thuan
I have just graduated in Mathematics at the University of St Andrews with a First Class degree where I gained experience at teaching a few classes. I have been tutoring all kinds of students, from those whose aim was to pass their exams to those whose aim was to get top grades. I personally did A-Levels in Maths, Further maths, Chemistry, Physics and achieved A*, A*, A*, and A*.
My current offering is as follows
- GCSE: Maths, Further maths, Chemistry, Physics.
- A-Level: Maths, Further maths, Chemistry, Physics.
- IB: Maths (AA, AI, SL, HL)
- Oxbridge/Imperial/Warwick entrance exams: STEP and MAT.
- Undergraduate: Mathematics and Statistics
- Graduate: programs that require maths or statistics (e.g Masters in Economics, Psychology, Computer Science, etc...)

Flexible methodology, depending on one's goals, level, and current development stage.
Usually the lesson is split in three parts:
(1) Review of the material and explanation of the theory.
(2) Practice of exam-style questions relevant to the material learnt.
(3) Marking of the exam-style questions to reinforce knowledge and to learn from mistakes.
Due to my experience in tutoring a wide range of students at many different levels, I find it easy to quickly work together with the student to find the best way they can learn.
