About Kate
I have 5 years of teaching experience and hold a Master’s Degree in Mathematical Sciences. My interest in Mathematics grew from a fascination with patterns, logical structures, and the way numbers help explain the world around us. Teaching has allowed me to share that enthusiasm while supporting students in their academic journeys.
My teaching philosophy is based on clarity, patience, and adaptability. I enjoy finding different ways to explain concepts so students can understand them with confidence. Every learner is unique, and I work hard to create lessons that suit individual strengths and challenges.
Beyond teaching, I enjoy exploring mathematical applications in finance, technology, and scientific research. These interests allow me to bring practical perspectives into lessons. Helping students develop confidence and independence in Mathematics is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

My Maths lessons are designed to help students see mathematics as a subject built on logic and understanding. We explore algebra, geometry, calculus, probability, and statistics through clear explanations and carefully structured examples. I focus on helping learners recognise patterns and build confidence in solving problems independently.
Every lesson is adapted to the student's learning style and academic goals. Concepts are introduced step by step, followed by guided practice that strengthens understanding and accuracy. I encourage students to explain their thinking so they can develop stronger reasoning skills and identify areas for improvement.
I aim to create a learning environment where students feel motivated and supported. Consistent practice, constructive feedback, and encouragement help learners make steady progress. My goal is to help students become confident problem-solvers who approach Mathematics with a positive mindset.
