About Maria
I am a Math tutor with 13 years of experience and a PhD in Mathematical Sciences. Teaching has allowed me to support learners with different abilities while helping them discover that Mathematics becomes much easier when every concept is understood clearly.
My teaching style focuses on patience, organization, and continuous encouragement. I adapt lessons to suit individual learning needs while helping students build strong mathematical foundations through consistent practice and thoughtful discussion.
Outside teaching, I enjoy mathematical research, creating educational resources, and exploring real-world applications of mathematics. These interests help me design engaging lessons that make Mathematics meaningful and enjoyable.

My Mathematics lessons are carefully designed to help students develop confidence by understanding mathematical ideas from the ground up. We explore algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, probability, statistics, coordinate geometry, sequences, and mathematical reasoning using practical examples and easy-to-follow explanations. Every lesson encourages learners to understand relationships between concepts so they can solve unfamiliar problems confidently. I create an encouraging learning environment where progress is built through understanding rather than memorization.
As students improve, we practice equation solving, graph analysis, mathematical modelling, estimation methods, logical puzzles, numerical reasoning, and examination preparation through structured exercises. I introduce different solution strategies that help learners approach problems creatively while maintaining accuracy. Guided practice, concept reviews, and detailed feedback strengthen analytical thinking and improve confidence throughout the learning process.
My goal is to help students become independent thinkers who enjoy solving mathematical challenges. Every lesson develops problem-solving ability, logical reasoning, and confidence that extends beyond the classroom.
