About Lila
I have 11 years of teaching experience and hold a PhD in Computational Mathematics. My interest in mathematics began with a fascination for patterns, logic, and the way numbers help explain the world around us. Over the years, I have worked with students from many different academic backgrounds.
My teaching style combines patience, structure, and encouragement. I believe students learn best when concepts are explained clearly and supported with meaningful examples. I enjoy helping learners discover their strengths and develop confidence in their abilities.
Outside teaching, I continue studying mathematical applications in technology, science, and data analysis. This helps me keep lessons relevant and engaging. Supporting students as they grow into confident and capable problem solvers is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

My maths lessons focus on helping students develop strong understanding rather than relying on memorisation. We explore algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and logical reasoning through clear explanations and guided problem-solving. Every lesson is designed to make challenging concepts feel more approachable and manageable.
I adjust lessons to match each student's ability and learning goals. Beginners strengthen core skills and mathematical confidence, while advanced learners work on complex problems, analytical thinking, and exam techniques. Regular practice and feedback help students improve steadily and accurately.
I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring new ideas. As confidence grows, learners become more independent and willing to tackle difficult questions. My goal is to help students see mathematics as a useful and rewarding subject.
