About Yasmini
Yasmin Kedem is an accomplished French, English Language Educator, fine artist and Counsellor, with significant international exposure in the visual arts. Multi-degreed at the postgraduate level in both the arts and education with qualifications in care, Kedem demonstrates an acute understanding of the integration of theory and practice in the arts and education and its application in facilitating language. Kedem is committed to the ongoing philosophy and methodology of practice-based research in education, art and design with the client production of original language presentations and or artefacts at the basis of her research practice. As part of this approach Kedem integrates the use of traditional with cutting-edge digital methods, stretching the boundaries of contemporary art applied to understandings of memory triggers, and stimulus for health and leisure. Widely commissioned, Kedem has participated in over 54 exhibitions and has also organised shows for her students with approved community development Regional Art Grants and projects.

I like to teach through the Person Partnered Collaborative Communicative Approach based on student interests and then build on the familiar through their choice of focus. This means learning language either literally or visually through a story form chosen by the students so that we learn the related grammar in context.
