About Stephen

Not only have I been tutoring for almost 10 years on my own, at centers and at school as an official and unofficial tutor, but I am also a Teacher's Assistant for Signals and Systems, which is an Electrical Engineering course based on Fourier Series, Differential Equations and lots and lots of little mathematical tricks. That’s the biggest thing with math is recognizing patterns and the little tricks there are.

About the lesson

I’ve worked at Mathnasium in the past and have always been the friend that teaches everyone the material right before the exam. As a past engineering master's student at Villanova University and current medical physics PhD student at Wake Forest University, I do calculus every single day! From K-12 and beyond whatever it may be I can help. Please bring your own material to work on when we study. Any mathematical subject EXCEPT Statistics and Geometry I can work with.

Perfect! Stephen was such a great tutor! He was able to help me in a class where he had not seen much of the material before, but still took the time to go through all of the material and teach me about it as well! I would 100% reccommend having him as a tutor.

Perfect! I can not stress this enough, Stephen is seriously an incredible tutor. He is extremely, like scarily, intelligent. I'll admit, in desperate times I have turned to programs like symbolab, chegg, photomath, and even AI for questions that I just couldn't understand. Stephen was able to answer those questions CORRECTLY, whereas the programs literally got them WRONG. He's a genius, I even joke that he's smarter than a computer, and he is a fantastic teacher. His demeanor is so kind and laid-back, sessions with Stephen are really fun but still packed with super useful information, insights, and guidance. If you're able to be tutored with Stephen, please do not hesitate to!! For his level of expertise, he charges ridiculously cheap rates, it's a steal. Amazingly, my D in Calculus was brought up to an A, and I got a 100% on my final, all thanks to him! DEFINITELY schedule with Stephen if you can!

Stephen is the best! I came to him with not much knowledge of calculus and he said he’ll work with me to get me prepared for the final! He is so patient and the only reason I am ending this class with a B, if it weren’t for him I would have failed.
