Laura and I worked together at the BSU Children’s Center. I was a teaching assistant and got to work with her classroom regularly (she was the lead). I was consistently impressed by her dedication, professionalism and patience with her students. She always sat down and spoke to them with kindness and respect, successfully fixing any issue with some form of creative task or diversion. She is passionate about her job as a teacher and treats each student as an individual. I know that she owned her own school at one point and has also worked with special education classrooms. This diversity in teaching, along with her many years of experience, provide a good foundation for any student️

Laura is an incredible teacher. She meets children where they are and supports them to grow and gain a solid understanding of the subjects. Laura is very knowledgeable and has the ability to explain things in many ways to support understanding. I have worked directly with Laura in a school setting and was always built up and encouraged to keep trying different strategies to support children.
