About Ben

My name's Ben, I've got an MSc in Philosophy and Public Policy, and BA in Philosophy. Through university I worked at a theatre in the West End. I got to hang out with interesting people at work - which was great because I'm a people person - but I had to process complex ideas quickly to meet my deadlines. I have utilised this skill by tutoring politics and philosophy from A-level to university, effectively communicating difficult concepts in everyday terms. I really hate the feeling when something just isn't adding up, so I love seeing the penny drop when I explain things to students in a relatable way. Tutoring is also a way of keeping me razor sharp on the issues I care about. I write articles on politics and philosophy, and there's no better motivator to stay sharp than teaching!
