About Ranice
I have always been fascinated by the “how” and “why” behind the phenomena of Math and Science. This curiosity has followed me through secondary school and Junior College, and now a pre-undergraduate, I believe that the same curiosity can bring my students to greater heights. My teaching approach focuses not only on building strong conceptual understanding and clear, step-by-step problem-solving skills, but also on creating a supportive, comfortable learning environment where students feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes.
Patient, approachable, and attentive to each student’s learning needs, I believe that every student can improve with the right guidance and encouragement. I make an effort to understand their strengths, weaknesses, and learning pace, and am committed to helping them grow in confidence, motivation, and academic performance.

A typical lesson lasts 2 hours. We'll go through syllabus content and move on to practice questions, where you'll put your knowledge to the test. Active recall is the most effective studying method (both scientifically and speaking from personal experience), so we'll make sure to get the practice in whenever we can. I have 3 years of tutoring experience and am a tutor at a recognised tuition centre in Singapore, and I will help you achieve the results you want.
I believe in the flipped classroom learning style, because the fastest way to understand something is to explain it. By incorporating these smart studying methods in my lessons, I can help you truly understand more in two hours than you normally do in school.
