Having had the privilege of working alongside Nihal at a school, I can confidently attest to her exceptional skills, dedication, and passion for education. One of Nihal's most remarkable qualities is her ability to connect with students on a personal level. She demonstrated a unique talent for tailoring lessons to meet the diverse needs of her students, ensuring that each individual felt valued and empowered in the classroom as well as her tutoring classes. Nihal and I worked together for 3 years. I had to chance to observe her working style, behaviours and working discipline. She likes doing research, science projects and new experiments. In addition to this, she has an excellent background about Physics. She is very knowledgeable about international education programs especially IB, IGCSE, GCSE and A level. She always tried a new pedagogical approaches. It's not just her teaching skills that impresse me. She has a positive attitude and ability to never give up on a child. Her commitment and empathy were also necessary and valued not just by myself but also by her student's parents. I am absolutely confident that Nihal is a great teacher.

I have worked with Nihal Gökalp between years 2015-2019 at American Collegiate Institute, İzmir, Turkey. We shared and taught to grades 9, 10, 11 (IB HL) and 12 (IB HL). Among with her deep subject knowledge in physics, working with her had always been a pleasure for me.

Nihal is always kind to her students and also to people around her. Even at lunch times or after school, she spares her time to study with the volunteered students. She is also very careful about her behavior to her students. She is patient but she establishes the authority when necessary.

She is always enthusiastic about self-improvement. Even though it was her first year (which is a very high-pressure year, even for the experienced teachers) at our school, she applied to teacher seminars for high school teachers at CERN. In order to attend to these seminars, you should send your resume to Ministry of Education of Turkey and they should choose you.

In 2017, even though it was her first year of teaching IB HL physics, she was also attending to drama club of Agean University, İzmir, Turkey. The took part in the play Ghetto by Joshua Sobol. At May it was a pleasure to watch her on stage. I must admit she had done very well in two different areas; acting on stage and completing the needs of the IB curriculum: Supervising an extended essay (in which her student got a B, A being the highest grade) and also supervising 14 students in their individual investigation experiments.

Nihal is a teacher with a deep knowledge of her field, a kind and hard-working personality. I am confident that she will have good connections with her students and be helpful to them.

I have known Nihal for about 4 years and we were co-workers as Science teachers at American Collegiate Institute , Science Dept., İzmir -Turkey. She is very competent at her job and she is also known as a very easy going person among her friends. In addition to her High potential at her job, she has also very good English skills.
