About Swati

I am an architect with a deep love for painting and visual storytelling. My background in architecture has trained me to observe form, light, color, and composition, while painting allows me to express creativity and emotion. I enjoy sharing this passion with others and helping beginners build confidence in their artistic journey.

About the lesson

This beginner-friendly class will introduce students to the fundamentals of gouache painting. We will start with understanding proportions, composition, and the basic setup of a painting, followed by colour mixing techniques and brush control. Students will learn how to paint different landscape elements such as skies, mountains, trees, water, and foliage, and combine them to create beautiful landscape paintings with confidence.
