About Mylene
Hello, I am Mylene, a senior illustrator with over 8 years of experience and I love bringing stories to life to help businesses & individuals.
My career started in London where I learned a lot from creative agencies like Deloitte and big clients like the Design Council. London was great, however I quickly realised working with small businesses was very special to me and that I wanted to slow down and have time to explore my artistic style and elevate the quality of my approach to storytelling, so I moved to the Lake District.
It's been 4 years since that change and it was a great decision for both my personal and professional development.
A little about my experience:
I mostly work around:
-Branding projects (logos, brand identity, content for website & social media, manuals, brochures etc)
-2D animation / motion graphics (short videos, about videos & animated gifs)
- Editorial projects (mostly children books)
- Personal commissions
My qualifications:
BA in Visual Communication and Graphic Design
MA in Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship
Apart from being fluent in English I am a native French & Spanish speaker (Half French - Half Mexican)
