About Raghavendra
Mathematics is rarely just about numbers; it is about building a reliable framework for logical problem-solving. My own quantitative journey is rooted in rigorous academic training—from graduating from Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) to pursuing my postgraduate studies at Imperial College Business School, alongside clearing CFA Level 1 and scoring in the 100th percentile in GMAT Quant.
However, academic credentials only matter if they can be translated into clarity for a student. I understand the exact mental blocks and exam pressures that teenagers face because I have recently navigated the world's most competitive quantitative testing environments myself. My teaching style is calm, structured, and entirely focused on demystifying complex topics.

Who the lessons are for
My classes are exclusively tailored for Year 10 and Year 11 students (ages 14–16) preparing for their GCSE Maths exams, specifically those aiming for top results (Grades 7–9) in the Higher Tier.
My Teaching Methodology
I use a results-driven, 'Diagnostic to Execution' approach. We do not just passively read textbooks; we focus strictly on how to extract maximum marks under pressure. I will begin by diagnosing the exact root of your error—whether it is a conceptual misunderstanding or poor time management. I simplify the theory using clear, step-by-step logic, and then we immediately transition to drilling past-paper questions from AQA, Edexcel, and OCR. I teach students how to think like an examiner, spot logical traps, and structure their working out to guarantee partial credit.
Typical Lesson Structure
A standard lesson lasts 60 minutes. We dedicate the first 10 minutes to reviewing prior concepts, 30 minutes to breaking down a new topic, and the final 20 minutes to solving real exam questions under a timer. For students approaching their final exams, I also offer 90-minute intensive past-paper sessions.
