About Mohammad

Hi, I'm Mohammad Zafar. I completed my Master's in Mathematics from IIT Delhi and have been teaching for several years now. I work with school students, competitive exam aspirants, and anyone who wants to get better at math. In multiple roles, I have created and solved 40k mathematics problems.

For me, mathematics isn't just about formulas and exams—it's about learning to think clearly and solve problems with confidence. Yes, good marks matter, but what matters more is that you actually understand what you're doing. That's what stays with you.

I've taught all kinds of students over the years. Some were scared of math. Some had weak basics. Some just couldn't figure out where they were going wrong. And honestly, I've seen almost all of them improve—not because of some magic trick, but because we took the time to build their understanding step by step.

I don't believe in making students memorize things. I focus on explaining 'why' something works, not just 'how' to do it. Once the logic clicks, problems become much easier to handle. I also know that many Hindi-speaking students find English-medium math confusing, so I make sure to explain things in a way that makes sense to them.

I can help you with school math (CBSE/ICSE), topics like Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, Geometry, or prep for competitive exams. My classes are relaxed and flexible—I adjust based on how you learn and what you need. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, even the "silly" ones (they're never silly, by the way).

In today's world, mathematics has become more important than ever. AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, Finance, Engineering—almost every modern field is built on mathematical thinking. It's not just about solving equations. Math trains your mind to think logically, spot patterns, and make smart decisions. It's the foundation of technology and science.

Students who develop strong mathematical thinking now will have a real advantage in the future. Whether you want to become an engineer, programmer, data scientist, economist, or anything else, a solid understanding of math becomes a long-term asset. That's why I don't just focus on exam scores—I focus on building deep understanding and real problem-solving skills that will help you throughout your life.

Outside of teaching, I'm interested in education, psychology, AI, and how people learn. I have recently started a YouTube channel for students and professionals where I upload serious content on learning. I think these things make me a better teacher because I'm always thinking about how to explain something more clearly.

About the lesson

My classes are about making math clear and logical—not stressful or about memorizing formulas blindly. I genuinely believe anyone can get better at math if concepts are explained patiently and in the right way.

I focus on understanding first. Once your foundation is solid, even tough problems start making sense.

What a typical class looks like:

> I explain the concept in simple, everyday language
> We solve problems step-by-step together
> I use real examples so things click better
> You get practice questions during the session itself
> We discuss doubts openly—no question is too basic
> I share shortcuts and exam tips where they're useful
> You get homework and revision support when needed

Every student is different, so I adjust how I teach based on your level, pace, and what you're aiming for.

If you're weak in math or scared of it:

I'll focus on rebuilding your confidence, fixing gaps in basics, and removing that fear. We'll go slow and steady—small wins add up.

If you're an advanced student or preparing for competitive exams:

We'll go deeper into concepts, work on analytical thinking, practice advanced problems, and sharpen your speed and accuracy. I'll also teach you smart strategies for exams.

I always encourage questions. Real learning happens when you're curious and engaged, not when you're just copying down steps. Math should make sense, not confuse you.
