About Emily
I have been tutoring GCSE and A level students since 2014. I have helped two students apply to Cambridge; they both succeeded at interview and passed their exams. I have also helped students improve their grades, especially those struggling to pass English at GCSE.

I am a recent Cambridge history graduate with a passion for tutoring. I am proficient in modern and early modern history; my expertise lies primarily in British history, with the exception of modern American and European history. I can provide first hand advice on how to master exams (GCSE's and A levels), and how to write the 'perfect' essay. I am also trained to tutor in English literature and Geography to advanced level. I also have strong experience in writing personal statements for those applying to university; particularly to Russel group universities. I would describe my style as friendly, approachable and patient. I will provide handouts and notes to all my students.
