About Varshitha

Hi, I'm Varshitha Inturi. I specialize in math and science for middle school to early college students, helping them build their foundations in their subjects. My teaching approach focuses on understanding concepts deeply rather than memorization, using real-world applications, step-by-step problem-solving, and interactive learning techniques. With a background in AP Biology, STEM competitions, and research, I can tailor each session to meet individual learning styles, ensuring students excel in exams, and coursework. Whether you're preparing for a test or looking to strengthen your skills, I'm here to make learning engaging and effective!

About the lesson

I take a concept-first approach to tutoring math and science, ensuring students understand the why behind concepts first rather than just memorizing formulas. I also use interactive, inquiry-based learning, real-world examples, and step-by-step problem-solving to make lessons engaging and effective. A typical session includes a quick review, concept introduction, guided and independent practice, and a final recap with Q&A. What sets me apart is my multidisciplinary background in coding and medicine, allowing me to connect topics across fields, along with my experience in AP Biology, STEM competitions, and research. I tutor middle school to early college students in math, biology, chemistry, and anatomy, helping them with exam prep, and foundational skills for academic success.
