About Shivani
My name is Shivani and I am a high school student who loves math and chemistry. From a young age, I have always enjoyed math, attending multiple math classes to become more proficient at the subject. When I was in 4th grade, I remember being taught advanced math topics by high school students, and I was curious to know how it would be to teach a subject that I really enjoy. Now, I can do just that and share the knowledge I have grown throughout the years to others through tutoring. I hope that I can teach my students to be persistent and enjoy the math/chemistry problems they encounter, and maybe one day, they can teach others too.

I am very passionate about anything STEM-related and I am open to answering all and any questions the student may have about the topic they are struggling with.
A typical lesson plan:
1) Go over topics/questions student may be struggling with
2) Quickly summarize key takeaways
3) Student does a few more practice problems with tutor's support
4) Time for final thoughts and questions

Shivani is one of my friends and she is someone I regularly go to for math help. Even though we are in the same class and she helps me on material we are currently learning, she explains it really well and makes sure that I understand the concepts.
Shivani has been mentoring my son Siddharth for a few years now.
I have always admired her patience while tutoring and her deep knowledge of fundamentals, which enables her to break down even complex problems into tiny parts to help the student understand clearly.
There is a method to her approach that makes learning enjoyable for Siddharth.
I strongly recommend Shivani; she is an excellent tutor.See more recommendations
