I teach because I have a passion for learning and believe with the right support, students can achieve their educational goals! As mentioned previously, I am a fully qualified Science teacher who has had personal academic success. I have a holistic teaching approach and provide learners with an online platform so they have a record of the lessons taught and have access to additional resources for support.

Hi,

My name is Lewis and I am science graduate from UCL and am a fully qualified Science teacher, who achieved a distinction in their PGCE from the University of Nottingham.

I can tutor in the following subjects:

GCSE Maths
GCSE French
GCSE Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics)
A-Level Biology
A-Level Chemistry

I believe that academic success is available to anyone and believe that 1 to 1 tutoring can provide the necessary boost to confidence and competence to help students achieve their desired academic goals.

I offer a holistic, thorough and compassionate approach to tutoring where I try to instil confidence, motivation and a love for learning in my students.

I am well experienced in the provision of online learning using a range of educational technologies to develop evidence-based and comprehensive learning to my students. I typically create a Microsoft Teams community for each of my students providing them with all the resources I use in the lesson as well as signposting to additional resources to support independent learning.

I have always had a love for learning and believe that with dedication, focus and support everyone can achieve their learning goals and needs. I believe education is not just about the grades (although they can help) but is a life long commitment to widening our world view. For example, currently I am studying Egyptology after a recent trip to Egypt because I find the ancient world absolutely fascinating!
