About Maneli

4+ years of experience as a math and English tutor at Best Brains for students K-8, I was ranked 3rd in my high school with a 1500+ SAT. Received math awards 2 years in a row. Going to UT Austin for Data Science & Statistics. I tutor at multiple Best Brains locations as well, constantly meeting new students and adapting to their capabilities. I have tutored one student in SAT, and over a single summer, his SAT score went from 1350 to 1490. I have also volunteered as a tutor on Schoolhouse.com, teaching English SAT. I got excellent reviews from students all over the world and took tutoring courses.

About the lesson

I can tutor from 6 year olds to high school students in math class up to Calculus BC. I can tutor the digital SAT math section which I got a near perfect score on (790/800). As a tutor, it is tremendously important to be continually up to date with the newest material, and set high expectations for students. The first lesson will consist of a diagnostic and evaluation of the starting place and pace of acceleration for the student, keeping in mind their personal goals and learning style. From then, I will plan weekly if not daily homework and practice that they need to do to keep up with the fastest possible rate of growth. During lessons I will teach a good portion of the time, then show them how to practice and give them a myriad of resources to practice outside of class.
