About Aliyah
I am a young aspiring teacher who has recently completed university and has a passion to teach religious studies for a living. I have extensive amount of knowledge in religion, philosophy and ethics with skills to help others do well in their exams/assignments. As a recent student myself, I know what is required of a student within all levels of education. With my extremely flexible timetable, I am always available to help students achieve their personal and educational goals, making sure they are achieving their full potential.

My technique to tutoring is tailored to each student as I differentiate and scaffold my work. This approach ensures that I recognise the different levels my students are learning at (differentiate), then I break down the learning into different methods of teaching (scaffold). This means that each student is given their own unique learning plan to reach the grade they are working towards. Within my classes I cover specific areas of religious studies which my student needs support with, ensuring they are left confident with the subject area. To do this, I cover content through my personal worksheets/power-points and assess student's learning through assessments. Assessments are marked and graded using national curriculum guidelines therefore preparing students for real-life exams. Each one to one tutored lesson is typically an hour long (per session). However if required I can make sessions longer. I have studied RE through GCSEs, A-level and Degree level, so I have substantial knowledge in this field. My lessons are for all ages/groups wishing to gain more support in religious studies.
