About Ben

GIT Graduate Looking to take on some new students! We will work on a wide variety of topics such as technique, theory, and ear training to take you to the next level! I am currently willing to teach online, I also have a studio if needed.

About the lesson

Musicians Institute GIT graduate, that currently lives in the Los Angeles area In the beginning of my lesson, I will ask the student if they have any questions, and if they have any particular topic and or subject they want to learn. That will determine the course of the lesson, and I will answer their questions to the best of my ability so they understand it clearly. I will typically give homework as well, to make sure the student is making progress and to help motivate the student to practice and get better.

Ben is absolutely the man, not only is he a teacher but he’s a good friend as well. He knows all of the music theory… all of it. Get this man in a jam and he’ll turn a one chord vamp into something out of this world. Very thoughtful, very insightful, and really passionate when it comes to helping people learn the language. He’s able to dumb down advanced concepts enough for this knuckle dragging metal kid to understand it, and I know he can do the same for you. Give this man your money and let him bring you into the light, your playing and phrasing WILL improve… a LOT, I guarantee

I like that Benjamin has years of teaching experience under his belt. It made me feel confident that he knew how to relay easily digestible information to students of all levels. I am personally a beginner, and he has had the ability to break down concepts for me. He is very well-versed in his music theory and ear training too, so he can transcribe some of my favorite songs for me so I can learn how to play them.
