About Florenda

I am a Teacher in Profession. I teach with passion and professionalism. I am a result-oriented individual. My performance will always be the result of my productivity.
If the teacher isn't good enough she can't get a 50% of the slots she opened for the week. But, if the teacher is a good and effective teacher she will get at least 97% of her open slots for the week. My productivity always measures my worth as a teacher after 3 months of teaching. I am clear from the beginning that I always need students that is willing to learn. I don't need students that are very smart and they're there not for learning but to insult teachers. I always desire my students to feel that my satisfaction is that, my student learn. I am happy that I am part of my student's learning journey. I am amazed at how the English language connects people globally. But, my only desire is for my students to be competitive in the global world. In business, they should be IN, and their English communication can help them be the best business man/woman in the global world.

About the lesson

Approaches and teaching styles vary according to the level and age of my learners.
But, the most important is I was able to impart the learning materials that at the end of the class they can answer me every time I asked them, "What they have learned in that specific lesson of the day."
Online teaching and classroom face-to-face teaching is different. I always let them know that they are the reason why I am there to teach. To engage them in the lesson materials being presented. With respect let students know that specific hours I am their teacher and they're my students. That I need a student that is willing to learn.
For adults and professionals, it's different styles and approaches. Being knowledgeable about the topic being presented can help a lot to make the conversation alive and interesting.
You will truly know if you're a good online teacher. How? Every time you open your slots for the next week, it will not take a day or 8 hours to be filled and most of them are your returning students. That's the measurement or the basis of being a good teacher.
