About Christine

My professionalism is defined by:
Academic Depth: An Ivy League background in Psychology and Theater from the University of Pennsylvania, providing a unique understanding of human behavior and performance that I bring into every classroom setting.
Specialized Expertise: A "Triple Master’s" foundation—holding a Master of Arts, a Master’s in Elementary Education, and a Master’s in Special Education. This allows me to navigate complex IEPs, compliance, and differentiated instruction with precision and care.
The Artist-Educator Model: Over 10 years of experience supporting students with disabilities, integrated with a professional background in the Fine Arts. I specialize in Painting, Photography, and the Theories of Color & Composition, using creative expression as a tool for cognitive and emotional development.
Cultural & Linguistic Competence: Fully bilingual (Spanish/English), I provide inclusive support that bridges language gaps and fosters a welcoming environment for all families and students.
My teaching philosophy is simple: Education should be as rigorous as it is engaging. I am committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity while ensuring that every student feels seen, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.

I am a previous colleague of Christine, and I had the opportunity to see firsthand how thoughtful, knowledgeable, and dedicated she is. She has a real gift for making academic material feel approachable and engaging, and she explains concepts with both clarity and patience. What always stood out to me was her ability to connect with others in a way that builds confidence and encourages growth. Christine is not only highly capable and professional, but also genuinely invested in helping people succeed. I would enthusiastically recommend her to any student looking for a supportive, skilled, and inspiring tutor.
