By the end of the lesson, students should be able to identify and use different types of words in the English language, understand and utilize different verb forms, form words through affixes and roots, correctly punctuate sentences, identify and use various tenses, and construct simple, compound, compound-complex, and different conditional sentences.

Introduction (10 minutes)
Brief overview of the topics to be covered.
Interactive Q&A session: "What are some words you know?" "Have you heard about tenses?"
Warm-up Activity (5 minutes)
Quick game of "Word Relay": Students form two teams, and they relay to write a word on the board. This primes them for the lesson and also serves as an assessment of prior knowledge.
Types of Words Used in the English Language (15 minutes)
Presentation on nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections.
Activity: Students categorize a list of words into their respective types.
Different Types of Verbs and How to Teach Them (20 minutes)
Explanation of action verbs, linking verbs, and helping/auxiliary verbs.
Activity: "Verb Charades": Students act out verbs while others guess.
Building Words through Affixes and Word Roots (15 minutes)
Introduce the concept of word roots, prefixes, and suffixes.
Activity: "Affix Match": Students match word roots to their corresponding affixes to form new words.
Essential Punctuation Refresher (15 minutes)
Overview of the importance of punctuation.
Explanation of periods, commas, semicolons, colons, exclamation points, question marks, quotation marks, apostrophes, etc.
Activity: "Punctuate It Right": Students correct sentences with missing or wrong punctuation.
Present, Past, and Future Tenses (15 minutes)
Explanation of the three primary tenses using timelines and examples.
Activity: "Tense Transformation": Students convert sentences from one tense to another.
