About Bailey
I hold both a B.S. and M.S. in Statistics from Baylor University and am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Statistics. Through my graduate training and experience teaching university-level courses, I’ve developed a deep understanding of statistical concepts as well as how to communicate them clearly and effectively. I’ve worked extensively with students at a range of levels, which has strengthened my ability to explain challenging material in a way that builds both understanding and confidence. I approach tutoring with professionalism, preparation, and a genuine commitment to each student’s success.

I teach an introductory Statistics course at Baylor University (comparable to AP Statistics), where I grade homework and write exams. I have a strong sense of which topics are most important and most likely to be tested. My philosophy centers on partnership in learning—shared wins!
I believe there’s more than one way to approach a problem, so I tailor explanations to each student’s learning style, whether visual, verbal, or a combination of both.
Philosophy: Partnership in learning — Shared Wins!
Courses: High School Math, High School Statistics, College Statistics
Workflow: We start by strengthening foundational concepts and targeting weak areas through clear verbal and visual explanations. Once the student builds confidence, they work through examples independently while I provide guidance as needed. I also use custom-designed problems to highlight concepts that are commonly confused. When a student can successfully complete even challenging problems on their own, they’re ready.
**I am not permitted to tutor students enrolled in Baylor University STA 1380.**

My sister Bailey is honestly such a great teacher. She explains things in a way that actually makes sense and doesn’t make you feel dumb for not getting it right away. She’s super patient and really cares about helping people improve. Overall she makes learning less stressful and will definitely help you ace that test (from personal experience)
