About Cara

Hi! My name is Ms. Cooke and I am so excited to be your child’s tutor this year. My experience spans across different grade levels, but my true passion lies in teaching kindergarten through second grade. I believe that every child brings something unique to the classroom, and I strive to create a learning space where each student feels safe, valued, and inspired. I am dedicated to nurturing a love of learning in my students and helping them develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed both academically and socially. During our time, we will focus on building strong foundations in literacy and math while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. I value diversity and work to incorporate a wide range of perspectives and experiences into our lessons. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy surfing, yoga, reading, and traveling. About the lesson

As a tutor, my lessons are engaging and intentional. Just as I structure my lessons in the classroom to individually meet the needs of different learners, I do the same with tutoring. Majority of my experience is with grades K-2 and coming up with creative ways to make learning fun and beneficial.
