About Nur
I had recently completed my pre-U studies and had wanted to pursue a part-time tutoring job before I enrol into university. In the past, where I had been given the opportunity to tutor students on several occasions, I had realised how rewarding it was to be able to help a fellow student gain a better understanding at a difficult concept. I believe that as a student myself, I am able to sympathise with students' problems with school to a greater extent, and I am determined to help my students as much as possible.

Initially I would go over the basics of the concept, ensuring that the student understands the fundamentals. Then we would discuss relevant past year questions to familiarise the student with the types of questions to expect. I would also be open to discussing my student's homework/assignments with them and provide any guidance that they seek. Lessons would typically last 1 hour (but can be adjusted accordingly). I have tutoring experience from college, having been selected to be a mentor for Math Methods and Biology (for the AUSMAT pre-U program). I had tutored peers my age on a weekly basis. Furthermore, I had enrolled in a volunteering program named 'Tutors in Action' where I had tutored SPM students in Math.
I am able to tutor IGCSE students, as well as younger students ranging from primary up till lower secondary.
