About Leon

My name is Leon Makori, and I come from a background in civil engineering. You might wonder why someone with an engineering background is passionate about teaching. Well, during my studies and professional experience, I discovered a deep love for sharing knowledge and helping others understand complex concepts. I believe that education is not just about learning facts and figures, but about empowering individuals to think critically and solve problems creatively. My goal as a tutor is to inspire you to see the beauty in the subjects we study together and to equip you with the skills and confidence you need to succeed. I'm here to support you every step of the way on your learning journey. Together, let's explore, discover, and achieve great things!

About the lesson

When it comes to private tutoring, my approach is all about personalized attention and tailored learning experiences. Each student is unique, so I believe in understanding their individual strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles from the start. By creating a supportive and engaging environment, I aim to build confidence and foster a genuine interest in the subject matter. My goal is not just to teach content, but to empower students with the skills and strategies they need to become independent learners. Together, we'll set clear goals and work collaboratively to achieve them, ensuring steady progress and a deeper understanding of the material.
