About Lowri
I am a student at Oxford university, but have always maintained my violin playing as a hobby; I have been part of regional and national orchestras during my youth, and tutored children of all ages for two years. Having taught and been taught myself since the age of six, I realise that a personal teaching experience that is tailored to the needs of each student is of utmost importance.

The methodology will greatly depend on the aptitude and age of the student, as well as their goals for the tuition; I am able to teach in line with grading systems (particularly ABRSM as I did these ones myself), but also can just teach for pleasure, guiding the student through a suitable repertoire which can be chosen between the student and myself. I am also able to teach theory up until grade 5, and this can be done as part of the practical education I can offer. I am able to come to houses if they are near to me, and have a very open schedule at the moment. I have an A at A Level music and will also be able to help with this too (as well as GCSE music very confidently, with an A* in that).

Details
Depending on the level of the child, I will lower or raise my rate as it means I will have to do more or less preparation. The rates here are for grade 4/5 standard on the violin. These rates can be significantly lowered for GCSE music tuition.
