About Daniel
I was a volunteer tutor during my college student days for over 4 years before becoming a university hired "professional tutor" at their student success center for another 4 years. Then I was also a tutor at the local community college while I was hired as a math professor down at the University of Middle Georgia. I will always be on time, and be prepared for our lessons and I will never take your interest in wanting to learn math or do well in math for granted.

Hello prospective students, I focus on learning together. I will not just toss worksheets and problems at you and explain nothing. I will always work with you to figure out where you are at and where you want to be (mathematically). Then we will go through the topics together step by step as I explain the material by using a scaffolding method where we start small and work each step to build towards the harder problems. A typical lesson would be a quick explanation of what the mathematical topic is, for example, Derivatives from Calculus I. Then after learning what the concept means and how it is supposed to work, we go through examples together until we are ready to tackle some "textbook" difficulty problems together, then the student tries a few questions alone while I see where any hesitation spots might be and we will reconnect and work through the problems and thought process together. I will never leave you in a lurch before moving onto another concept (as many find their other teachers might do) Then at the end of lesson, we will do a "pop review" of the concepts we may have covered that day and see if we need to revisit the topic on a future session before it all sinks in naturally. I'm especially knowledgeable in the college prep courses and the "first 2 years of college" kind of intro math courses that most people find the biggest shock to adjust to since I used to teach them at the collegiate level anyways. Details
If you choose the pack of: (for physical in-person sessions, all online sessions are strictly $25 per hour) -5 hours a week (assume 1 hour per day), the rate will be $140 total for the week -10 hours a week (assume 2 hours per day), the rate will be $250 total for the week
