About Gurpartap

I am an enrolled advocate primarily based in Chandigarh having wide experience in competitive examinations like UPSC CSE, UPSC CDS, state PSC.. Self taught in History, Geography, Polity, Economy and Philosophy.
Former Unacademy Faculty for Polity and IR

I have qualified UPSC CDS written four times, and have appeared in the SSB twice.
I have also qualified LSAT India, Symbiosis Law School entrance, PU CET (BA.LLB-2015, rank 26) PU CET (LLB 2018, Rank 7)
I have secured 7.5 bands (overall) in IELTS (Academic)
I passed All India Senior Secondary School Examination in 2015 with 94.4% and secured 99th percentile in the country.

About the lesson

I believe in the following-
1. Crystal clear teaching.
2. Simplifying complex topics
3. Teaching by recreating scenarios.
4. Engaging study with use of tips, tricks and mnemonics.
5. Use of short tests to check revision and retention.
6. Weekly testing for monitoring consistency.
7. Current affairs include daily newspaper analysis and weekly classes from additional sources.
8. Participative and two way learning.

I will be teaching Indian History, Geography, Economy, Constitutional Law, Art and Culture, Environmental Studies and Defence/Security for competitive exams (UPSC Civil services, UPSC CDS, and SSC)

Current affairs classes from 6th October (7.00 am to 8.00 am), would include newspaper analysis and topic wise current affairs along with a question answer round concluding the class.

General Studies classes will commence from 6th October (8.00 am to 9.00 am) starting with Modern Indian History.

A telegram channel will be made to share pdfs and related study materials for students.

Group classes preferred to increase spirit of competitiveness amongst the students.
