About Zachariah

I am a high-achieving and dedicated tutor who loves to see my students build understanding and develop the confidence they need. Having completed my GCSEs and A levels recently I understand the specific struggles and challenges of the exams and current specifications.
I achieved 8 9s and 3 8s at GCSEs including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths and Further Maths. I am also predicted 4 A*s at A levels in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics.
My own experience of preparing for demanding exams allows me to share effective strategies for improving understanding as I loved to do with my classmates in lessons whenever anyone needed help which has led me to believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each individual's needs.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is focused on building confidence and understanding. Having recently completed my GCSEs and A levels I have experience with exam structure and the best learning techniques.
I tailor each lesson to the individual students. I always explain concepts clearly and help students work through examples step by step and build understanding. I also try to help with exam technique, an important part of students maximising their marks.
Usually my sessions are 60 mins long, however they can be longer if requested.
As someone who has recently completed the current GCSE and A level specifications, I am very familiar with the exam content and expectations. While I don't have much professional tutoring experience, I am patient, approachable and committed to helping every student reach their full potential.
My lessons are primarily aimed at GCSE students including those studying Maths, Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I can help to improve confidence or achieve the highest grades, I also offer support for AS and A level students with Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics.
