About Tawana

I’m Tawana, a first-year medical student with a genuine love for learning and helping others grow. Throughout my own studies, I’ve seen how a supportive guide can transform difficult subjects into something manageable and even enjoyable. Teaching lets me share that same clarity and encouragement with students who may feel overwhelmed or unsure. I enjoy breaking ideas down, watching them “click,” and helping learners build confidence as they realise they’re capable of more than they thought. My goal is to make science feel welcoming, not intimidating and to support students in reaching their full potential.

About the lesson

Want a science tutor who actually gets what it’s like to learn tough material? I’m a patient, kind first-year medical student who breaks down tricky concepts into simple, relatable ideas. My lessons are supportive, interactive and focused on true understanding — not just memorisation. I help you connect theory to real-world applications, build confidence and develop problem-solving skills that last.
