About Alexandra
I am a recent graduate with a degree in International Relations and Film Studies from the University of St Andrews. This degree has covered topics in politics, philosophy, history, biology, and even art. I am very familiar with a wide range of subjects and their exam and coursework requirements having taken 8 highers during secondary school. I have experience teaching 12-18 year olds abroad, their skills very much improving during my time with them.

I can teach National 4/5 and Scottish Highers and Advanced Highers. I am happy to help out anyone who is struggling a little in certain areas or just needs that extra push to get them over the boundary of an A or a B or a passing grade. I believe everyone is capable of meeting their potential with a little help and with that in mind I approach teaching with patience and dedication. I see myself and my student as a team and together with enough work we can achieve the goals we set out on for their success. I deliberately make my lessons responsive to the needs, strengths and weaknesses of each student to make sure they are getting the most out of our time.

Details
I would ask that in order to make tutoring financially viable for me you cover the cost of my transport if I come to meet you. For example the cost of a return ticket to Aboyne (£9.60) or a contribution to my mother's petrol costs for her to drive me if you live off a bus route.
Please note I will not be in the Deeside area until June 2019, but am available for online tutoring now.
