As an FAU graduate with a passion for teaching, I bring personalized, engaging methods to help you excel in math, science, and college prep. Whether you're just starting out or need advanced support, I tailor each lesson to fit your unique learning style, ensuring you gain both confidence and knowledge. With a deep understanding of academic challenges, I’m here to guide you step-by-step toward achieving your goals. Let’s make learning enjoyable and impactful together!
My Teaching Method and Techniques:
I focus on a student-centered, adaptive approach that tailors lessons to each individual’s learning style and goals. I incorporate visual aids, real-world examples, and interactive activities to make complex topics more understandable and engaging. I aim to cultivate a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new concepts. My goal is not just to teach information but to empower students to think critically and solve problems independently.
A Typical Lesson Plan:
Each lesson begins with a brief review of previous concepts to reinforce knowledge and identify areas needing clarification. I then introduce new material, breaking it down into manageable steps with practical examples. Lessons include hands-on exercises, practice problems, and periodic check-ins to gauge understanding. Toward the end, we discuss any questions, and I assign targeted practice tasks to strengthen comprehension. For college prep, I also cover time management, test strategies, and application tips.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor:
My experience as a first-generation college graduate with a biology degree from FAU allows me to understand the academic and personal challenges students face, especially in rigorous subjects. I blend a strong science foundation with empathy and adaptability, aiming to motivate students at any level and support them toward academic and personal growth.
Who the Lessons Are For:
I offer lessons for all levels, from middle school through undergraduate studies. I’m here to support students needing help with algebra, geometry, and science subjects (biology, marine science, etc.), as well as those preparing for college with focused academic coaching and application guidance.

I’m proud to write this recommendation for my sister, Maryam, who I’ve known my entire life. Maryam is a dedicated and compassionate educator with experience as a substitute teacher across all grade levels—from Pre-K through 12th grade. Her ability to adapt to different classrooms and learning styles makes her an incredibly versatile and effective tutor.
In addition to her teaching experience, Maryam has also volunteered extensively, including with Big Brothers Big Sisters at Seminole Trails Elementary and other organizations, where she has mentored and supported young students academically and emotionally. Her warmth, patience, and commitment to helping others shine through in everything she does.
Maryam is the kind of tutor who truly cares about her students’ success and well-being. She is trustworthy, responsible, and passionate about education. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled Superprof tutor.I believe that Maryam is so determined when it comes to her teaching goals and ambition. She is definition of a true hard working teacher and knows really well how to convey her idealistic teaching perspective style in a positive tone.
Maryam is a very young talented professional who has personally taken all levels of math courses, a perfect fit for math tutoring. She makes sure to match her teaching style to what the student requires.
Maryam Is the best tutor in the Town with her exceptional personality and her ability to tackle problems. She just don’t help to understand problems but help you to love the subject. Wether it’s math, science ,reading or history . You name the subjects and the problems she knows how to explain them well and make you get an A in course. She is reliable, punctual and willing to go beyond to help you understand the intense problems. glad to have her.
