About Tim

If you're looking for a tutor who is knowledgeable, professional, and truly invested in your success, I’m here to help! I recently graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in biology, and I have extensive experience in research, teaching, and healthcare-related fields. As a former microbiology teaching assistant and an undergraduate researcher at UF’s McKnight Brain Institute, I’ve worked with complex scientific concepts and know how to break them down in a way that makes sense. I’ve also volunteered in a hospital emergency department, giving me real-world insight into how biology applies beyond the classroom. I take tutoring seriously and strive to create a structured, encouraging, and effective learning environment. Whether you're preparing for an exam, struggling with difficult topics, or looking to refine your study strategies, I can help you develop a solid understanding and build confidence in your abilities. With my background, experience, and dedication, I can help you succeed in your biology courses and beyond. Let’s tackle your academic goals together!

About the lesson

Hi! My name is Tim Nguyen, and I am a college graduate at the University of Florida in December 2024 majoring in Biology. I am looking to further my studies to Dental School in upcoming semesters. Due to recent graduation, I am able to provide you with the latest help and preparation needed towards higher education. I’ve also worked as a microbiology TA, so I have experience breaking down complex concepts in a way that actually makes sense. Whether you need help studying for an exam, understanding tricky topics, or just figuring out how to survive your biology classes, I’m here to help. Plus, since I’m on my way to dental school, I can give you insight into how what you’re learning now connects to real-world careers.

If you’re ready to make biology a little less stressful and a lot more manageable, let’s work together!
