About Talal

My name is Talal. I am 22 and am in university; studying business management. I have always enjoyed teaching and tutoring those younger than me, viewing everyone as a younger sibling that I can help or pass any knowledge I have onto. I was always good at math and algebra while also being good at physics and science in general. I also pursue creative writing as a hobby. Our school has a tutoring program that we could participate in and when I was a part of that program I realized how much I loved to teach. Watching people succeed and knowing that I have helped them in some way really brightens my day and makes me feel like I am making a difference in people's lives. After starting university, I began freelancing as a tutor and have been teaching several students over the course of 5 years. The experience has only made me enjoy teaching more and helped me understand how to better teach and keep students interested in the lessons. I also am generally a humorous person and am always able to draw people out, even if they're shy. I am easy to talk to and can take anything in stride and will be able to adapt to whatever kind of student wants my help.

About the lesson

I am an easygoing person and am very patient when it comes to tutoring other people. I spent my free lessons in high school helping my teachers educate struggling students and have been tutoring students for 5 years after leaving school. I believe I have the experience required to help my students through classes and exams they struggle with. An average lesson can be between 1 to 2 hours long. I can do lessons up to three days a week and am considerably flexible with my timings. Any cancellations or rescheduling on your side are understandable and free of charge. I tend to explain each concept I teach at a steady pace and am always open to explain it again if I am misunderstood. I generally supply examples and test questions after the student mentions they are confident in their understanding. If the student struggles I will be happy to reiterate. My lessons would be for children of all ages. I am aware that sometimes students do not work well with certain tutors so I am willing to give a 1-hour trial lesson free of charge and allow the student to decide whether I am a good fit for them or not. All classes will be online just to be precisely on time but I am relatively confident that online learning will not hinder my teaching abilities or my students' learning abilities.
