About David
Struggling with math or physics? I can help! I've taught and tutored those subjects for over ten years. I have a B.A. in mathematics from Cornell University, and an M.S. in applied mathematics from the University of Maryland, where I am also currently pursuing my Ph.D. in applied mathematics. Between college and graduate school, I tutored professionally for several years.
My high school students have achieved perfect math scores on the SAT and SAT II, and on the AP Calculus and Physics exams. Some of them have gone on to schools like Columbia, Cornell, UC Berkeley, UCLA, and the University of Maryland. My undergraduate students at UMD have given me consistently excellent instructor and TA reviews in subjects including Calculus I - III, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, and College Algebra.
