About Karen

I am a recent college graduate from UMass Amherst who majored in Math and minored in Computer Science. I have a wide array of knowledge about all things math related. Back in high school I would tutor my peers who needed help and I pride myself on being able to explain complex things simply. Some of my interests outside of tutoring include data science and predicitve analysis.

About the lesson

We will talk about what topic or subject they need help with, what they do or don't understand about it. After I'll ask them if they have specific problems they want to work out and work from there. If not I'll make my own.

You have to find someone who can explain things to you in a way that you will understand. Some people, even the really smart ones, don't have that skill. So look for someone who is articulate and personable.
