About Mario
I know how frustrating it can be to not understand academic material. With that being said, I am so grateful for all of the teachers and friends that guided me through difficult courses throughout my academic career thus far and would love to support others the way they supported me.
I started tutoring my junior year of college after qualifying for my college's academic excellence program.
I recently graduated from Harvey Mudd College in the Spring with my Bachelor's in Engineering. My coursework was primarily focused on mechanical engineering. I tutored college sophomores at Mudd in an introductory system's engineering course for two years and met weekly with other tutors and staff to strategize tutoring methods that would best support the students.

Firstly, I like to set up some goals with the student to try and better understand what exactly they are hoping to gain from tutoring and how I can best support them. I also like to establish a system of sorts that guides both the student and me in their learning so that we can have the most productive time while together.
I have mainly worked with college sophomores.
Set ambitious but realistic goals for yourself and don't be afraid to ask questions!
