About Greg
I'm here to help you with anything Math! I've been teaching Middle School math since 2007. I am currently an appointed middle school tutor and a high school tutor three days out of the week. With my years of teaching experience, and my more recent tutoring experience, I am confident that I will be able to guide you towards stronger confidence and independence with your math.
I enjoy seeing the lightbulb turn on as students make the connections. I also enjoy the "process" by which students are able to persevere through their struggles. I have learned through my experience that this process is why we need math in our lives more than the actual math that we learn. We need to be able to communicate and problem solve effectively!
I teach because I love it...I teach middle school math because I know it, it gives me more time to better support my students.

I have taught many middle and high schoolers from all over New London county.
Tutoring is a great way to up your practice game and get better. Have some things in mind that you would like to work on and be "present". Have a self-talk ready for when you struggle, mine is always "I've got this!" If you are telling yourself otherwise while working out a math problem you will continue to struggle. You must be present and give yourself credit. You can do it!!
I also have coached cross-country and am currently coaching my 7 year old's ice hockey team. Go Seahawks!

You get out of tutoring what you put in, so be sure to have some goals in mind that you want to get better with. Share these goals with your tutor upon your first session.
