I am Dermot - Grade 9 student from San Jose, California.
I got tutoring of Maths from Soumitra sinha.
We had online sessions since January 2022 as he was in LA and myself in San Jose.
He offered first session as free which was quite informative and fun. Although we paid for as he is good.
Getting taught by him makes me understand lot of complex things. He explains step by step in detail and gives same problems until i have ironed out that method.
I will continue with him for the next term as well as my grades have improved a bit.

I was taught Geography and Maths (Arithmatic, General, Statistics, Algebra) by Soumitra sinha. He really is very cool and intelligent. He taught me step by step and has great knowledge. He knows lot about geography, world, current affairs which is very nice. I learned a lot. He cracks jokes in between which helps me as i cannot focus for longer if it get serious for long time.

He is on time, disciplined and always lets me do the answers. He says No answer is wrong if you are able to justify it.
He is a nice guy and works as well in some civil engineering company.

This is to recommend this tutoring services especially for Maths and Geography. I am a Grade 8 student living in San Bernadino, LA. I was taught by Soumitra Sinha (prefers calling him Sam) who has helped me in getting my foundations right for both of these subjects. I was initially struggling with Maths, i knew formulas and how to apply them but couldnt convert them into grades.
Sam taught me the fundamentals and explained me where i am doing silly mistakes. He made sure that i have got that step right by giving me to practice a lot.
He is cool as always and gives me my own time and freedom to prepare answers.
