About Kara
I am a current Mechanical Engineering Student at the University of Miami with a background in Environmental Engineering. I am a Provost List Scholar and have tutored multiple students in statistics, english, and mechanics of solids. As a student, I know what it takes to learn material and love teaching the youth and my peers.
I am a passionate academic and love to learn myself. It is an even better when I can share that knowledge with otehr eager students and help them succeed as well.
I am a rising senior engineering student and have tutored children in the high school and college levels. I take fantastic notes of my own that I like to share with my clients and prep my sessions based on their specific course requirements as well as meeting important benchmarks and concepts.

Typically, I try to understand the specific learning style of that student. I try to gauge their basic knowledge and understanding of the topic and help them first understand concepts before tackling any problems. I feel it is best that they attempt assignments on their own first so I can witness their thought process and guide them through learning in an optimal way.
