About Cesar
A recent graduate from Cornell University seeking tutoring opportunities of all kinds (the more difficult the better!) With a thorough, cohesive understanding of mathematics, computer science, and economics; I am able to provide assistance to students of all levels- from elementary school to college.
Whether you need help teaching arithmetic or the minutae of category theory, I am more than willing to assist!

I enjoy being able to empower and change the course of the young lives that are so often overlooked by society at large. There is no important task than educating the children that are to come, as they may be the key to the salvation of this very race!
I would say I have always taught for as long as I have known things to teach others.
However, my formal start to tutoring was at my mathematics club in high school.
I have a B.A. in Mathematics/Economics from Cornell University, with all of the idealism that comes with it (at least with regards to education!)

Initially, I attempt to understand/empathize with the student as best I can, drawing out whatever motivations or dreams lie within.
After getting a general idea of the student, I then format my lessons specifically around what allows for the most efficient medium for learning.
All sorts. From the bold and brash to the soft and subtle, there are no real gaps in the type of student I have encountered.
Do not seek out someone who makes assured guarantees.
Life is one recent event I am particularly fond of!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should talk to teachers about their needs as they immediately arrive. I do not believe that students should regulate their curiousity nor appetite for learning (even at inconvience to the tutor!)

Details
I usually attempt to price based on difficulty of the content being taught, somewhere in the range of $20 to $30 per hour.
Obviously, in cases of financial hardship or the especially bright pupil, prices will be lowered.
