About Armand

As a current college student studying engineering and chemistry, in all of my classes I continually apply the math, physics, and chemistry foundational skills I learned in high school. Having also recently graduated high school, this gives me the ability to not only give insights into core understanding of material, but it also helps me explain where the material can and is used.

I have experience being a teaching assistant for college chemistry II and my LinkedIn profile is found here: (concealed information)

In all the work that I do I enjoy being part of a team and helping everyone I work with succeed. When my classmates and students I help first understand a concept that they didn't understand before, it is a very exciting moment. It is exciting because not only has that person now learned something new, but it has also helped me learn a useful way of explaining an idea that can help even more students.

Further, I believe that anyone has the capacity to learn and succeed as long as they want it. Hardwork is the first step in learning and understanding any topic. After hardwork, to truly excel at a topic, it takes passion, whether quiet or loud. In my work then, I also hope to inspire others to at the least be willing to work hard, and at the best, to be passionate about what they are learning.

Helping my classmates in high school and college with their homework and understanding difficulty concepts, and explaining different concepts to my sisters as they went through the same classes a few years later, helped me realize how much joy and passion I have for helping others learn.

I am currently a junior mechanical engineering and chemistry student in college and I graduated high school in 2018. For nearly all the classes I take in college, I take utilize the foundational skills I learned in high school math, chemistry, and physics. With this, I have gained useful insights into the reasons why specific topics are useful and also many ways to understand them. In college I am also a teaching assistant for the chemistry II class where I help lead guided learning lessons.

From there we will create a typed up plan or agreement that is very informal about our plan to achieve our goal and each of our responsibilites. Once we both agree and are satisfied with the agreement, we will move forward until we have accomplished the goals we have identified.
