About Dana

Hello. I have over 20 years of one on one private tutoring experience, and 15 years of experience teaching in the classroom. Most of my background is tutoring and teaching mathematics grades 6-12 as well as college level math classes. I also provide standardized testing tutoring for the SAT, ACT, GRE, ASVAB, TEAS, PERT and more.

I really enjoy working one on one as it allows me to really get to understand my student’s strengths and weaknesses. I think it is important to have a strong rapport with each of my students, as his ensures a long term tutoring relationship. I work with my students for many years, and it makes me happy to see them successful in college and in their career. Tutoring is a very rewarding profession.

I have much experience tutoring and teaching math in the classroom.

I am math certified, highly qualified, reliable, and I make learning a fun process. My students look forward to our tutoring sessions.

I have over 15 years experience in the classroom teaching math and over 20 years of private tutoring experience for my own tutoring company .

Perfect! I’ve been homeschooling my 12 year old for the past four years. He has always struggled with schoolwork - especially staying on task and being engaged.
It was a constant battle to get any work done, and once he started middle school it was almost impossible.
