About Henrique

I have been tutoring others for over 4 years, and helping out classmates whenever I can. I look to help out classmates and friends both in school and from home. I have also helped out teachers in making sure that all students have a thorough understanding of the topics.

I am currently enrolled in Florida Atlantic University completing a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering. I have a score of 1470 on the SAT with a near perfect score of 780 on the math section and A's in every single one of my math classes so far. This is to show that with the proper guidance and effort, a normal student like me is able to achieve anything they put their mind to.

I enjoy being able to help out others by making learning an interactive and enjoyable experience. To accomplish that, I will approach each question in different ways and ensure that I can find a method that each person will understand as everyone thinks a little bit differently. I am happy to know that I am able to help out other people in being more successful in their lives.

I have completed Algebra I and II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus I, II and III with A's in all of them as well as achieved a near perfect score of 780 on the math section of the SAT. I have tutored many different people, making me efficient in being able to deal with many kinds of situations and adapting myself to be able to help.

About the lesson

To work with new students, I first try to understand what the student seems to be struggling with and then I come up with different methods of dealing with that. I will go over the more conventional method of learning the topic and then explain some tips and trick to make solving those problems easier.

I would tell students to look over the qualifications that the teacher has as well as checking if the teacher is effective in making the students understand the topic and not just do the work for them.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should try to indentify what it is they want to learn about and what their expectations are so that the teacher knows what each student is looking for and can teach accordingly.

Details

The stardard pricing system for my lessons would be payment of $40.00 an hour. If the lesson ends before an hour is complete or it goes over an hour by an amount, the payment will be proportional to the amount of time, meaning 1hour and 15 minutes would cost $50.00. I will mark the start time and end time.
