About Morgan
I just graduated high school and am in a gap year. I took math classes up to linear algebra and multivariable calculus. I'm committed, flexible, and love working with kids.
I love math, and in my gap year between high school and college, I would like to continue pushing myself and practicing math by teaching it.
I have a high level of math understanding and practice from Algebra 1 to Calculus to Linear Algebra.

First figuring out whether they need help with problems or have holes in larger math concepts. Also, understanding the type of learner the student is is important. I will provide videos and media or exercises I found helpful at the time if need be. I'd like to know what we will be working on before the tutoring sessions, so I can come fully prepared for the student.
Lots of peers. I have done some tutoring in high school with younger grades.
Understanding what you need help with can be hard, but is super important in finding someone who can help you. Sometimes you need someone to check your work for you or you lack confidence in your understanding or your teacher is not helping you learn. Regardless of what it is, understanding where you need help will make your tutoring process better for you. Also, there is no shame in getting tutoring. I got tutoring for physics because I wanted to do well in the class and not fall behind. Learning to mastery is hard to do on your own, and someone with more experience can help you get there.
