About Julie
I have tutoring experience for more than 6 years, from family, friends, to school public tutoring, and private tutoring. I am really patient in explaining things.
I love teaching people and transferring my knowledge to them. In order to keep my professionalism, I would update my knowledge by taking classes and reading textbooks.
I was hired as a tutor publicly or privately for 2 years now, not to mention I tutor my brother with mental disability and my classmates for more than 6 years now. For all the subjects I tutored, I have taken multiple classes or APs and I am fluent in Chinese and English with bilingual certificate proven. I've been to multiple tutoring training during the time when I was hired by my college. I have an associate degree in business administration and economics.

When I worked with a new student, I usually will offer an introductory course to see if he/she likes my teaching style. I will introduce myself and ask some basic information about the student (the course they need help with, their preference in teaching, etc). Afterwards, I usually will ask the student if he/she has any homework assignment or quizzes/tests they need help with.

Details
Usually, I charge 20 dollars/hour for the introductory courses. After that if the students are satisfied with my way of teaching, I will raise the price to 30 dollars per hour per student. However, the prices are always negotiable.
